The trek to PoonHill begins with an early drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Nayapul is the starting point of almost all the trekking routes in the Annapurna region. After a scenic one-hour drive from Pokhara along the serene views of the lake and different hills, we finally reach Nayapul. Once you reach the starting point of the trek, our guides take you on a trek to another checkpoint of the day, Ulleri. Reaching from Nayapul to Ulleri requires the trekkers to pass through two different settlements, Birethani and Tikhedhunga.

The trekkers get their trekking permits checked at the Birethani check post before continuing further on the 4 Day PoonHill Trek route. Once the permits are checked, we continue on a wide and relatively flat trail following the Bhurungdi Khola upstream. On our way, the trekkers will explore lush forests, villages, and settlements. After a while of walking, we reach another beautiful village named Tikhedhunga crossing a suspension bridge. Upon reaching Tikhedhunga, trekkers will already be at an altitude of 1570 meters.

As we leave Ulleri and proceed further towards Tikhedhunga, we need to ascend on the famous Ulleri Steps. These steps are popularly known as the most difficult part of this section of the PoonHill Trek. Upon sometime of ascending the steps, we will be fortunate enough to see the spectacular views of different terraced farms, villages, and panoramic vistas. Once you reach the altitude of 1970 meters, which indeed, is the Ulleri Village, the trekkers can settle down in a hotel arranged by Adventure Bound for dinner and overnight stay.

As you wake up, get freshened, and have a delicious breakfast on the second day, the guides will lead you on another magical and adventurous ascend of the 4 Day PoonHill Trek. On the second day, our destination would be Ghorepani, famous for having the largest rhododendron forest in the entire world. This section of the trek to PoonHill is also divided into three different sections: firstly, from Ulleri to Banthani, then from Banthani to Nangethanti, and finally from Nangethanti to Ghorepani.

On this day, trekkers will only have to walk for 4 to 5 hours. Within these hours, they will ascend from an altitude of 1970 meters to 2860 meters above sea level. This section of the 4 Day PoonHill Trek takes us through the beautiful rhododendron and oak forest. Moreover, they will ascend with the views of many snow-covered mountains. Moreover, the trekkers also get a chance to stroll through traditionally settled Gurung and Magar villages.

After a few hours, the trekkers pass both Banthani and Nangethanti and finally ascend to Ghorepani. At this moment, you will be in a picturesque village located at an altitude of 2860 meters above sea level. As we reach here the trekkers can check in at the hotel and take a rest. However, we also encourage them to explore the village for the rest of the day.

On the third day, we request the trekkers to wake up early in the morning. That is because we need to ascend on the trail from Ghorepani to PoonHill in the darkness of the morning. As PoonHill is famous for the scenic sunrise view along with the scenic vistas of the surrounding mountains, the GAT's guides take the trekkers on a sunrise-view hike to PoonHill. We spend a few hours in PoonHill, watch the sunrise, have breakfast, and then continue the walk.

Yes, PoonHill is not the last destination for the third day. We need to descend to Tadapani, another beautiful village located at an altitude of 2600 meters above sea level. On this day, trekkers need to walk for about 7 to 8 hours. Moreover, the route covers the maximum area in comparison to any other days in the 4 Day PoonHill Trek. Nevertheless, as this is a descending trail, it won't be as difficult compared to the ascending to the PoonHill viewpoint. We will take a rest in Tadapani for the night after having delicious Nepali cuisine for dinner.

Finally, we have come to the last day of the 4 Day Trek to PoonHill View Point with Adventure Bound. However, the walk is remaining as the trekkers need to descend from Tadapani to Ghandruk on this day. Ghandruk is one of the most beautiful villages in the entire Annapurna region, primarily settled by the Gurung people. The people here are so polite and welcoming that many visitors forget all the tiredness once they reach Ghandruk.

Besides, this place is also famous for the local and authentic Thakali Khana Set served by the Gurung people. The traditional stone houses with the backdrop of the Annapurna offer the experience of a developed habitat following a traditional lifestyle. If you want to immerse into the Gurung lifestyle, this is the best village for you throughout the trek. After spending a few hours in Ghandruk, our representatives take you on a drive back to your hotel in Pokhara. This officially ma
