Whether you want to escape the everyday chaos and embrace nature for a few days or want to live the beauty of the Himalayas in a short period.

The Langtang Valley 6 Day Trek with Adventure Bound starts with a drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. Here, you can rest for a day moving your feet toward the actual trekking trails of the Langtang Valley 6 Day Package.

On the way up, trekkers can experience mere changes in the atmosphere, climate, and weather in the initial phase. However, as we reach the higher parts of the 6 Day Langtang Valley Trek, drastic changes can be experienced in the weather and climate. The gradual ascend takes us through several floras, faunas, rhododendron forests, serene rivers, vegetation, traditional and rural lifestyles, and sparsely populated villages, with amazing views of the distant mountains.

The 6 Days Langtang Valley Trek Map offers mind-boggling views of several snow-covered peaks including Langtang Lirung (7234 meters), Ganesh Himal (7422 meters), Gang Cheenpo (6388 meters), Naya Kangri, Yala Peak (5732 meters), Dorje Lakpa, and Loenpo Gang. These Himalayas keep a close watch as you ascend the Langtang Valley Trekking Trail.

After walking for around 6 to 7 hours, we finally reached Ghortabela. However, before that the trekkers will also stop by a famous hotel in that region, the Lama Hotel.

Therefore, if you choose one of these seasons, you can be in for the best exploration and adventure in the Langtang Valley. However, we also recommend trekkers to book a little ahead of time because these are the peak seasons which means the number of trekkers might be very high during the spring and autumn seasons.

Besides, Adventure Bound's Langtang Valley 6 Day Trek package can also be booked during the winter season if you want some advanced adventure and challenges. However, the accommodation and food might be a little difficult during the winter season as most of the tea houses remain closed due to extreme temperatures.

Possibilities of Altitude Sickness During the Langtang Valley 6 Days Trek

Altitude sickness is a common yet serious issue in higher altitudes. Once you ascend above the altitude of 3000 meters, there are chances of nausea, loss of appetite, headache, dizziness, etc. All these are due to the lack of oxygen and too much of walk. If you feel any of the above-mentioned symptoms, inform the guide immediately. This will help you get the necessary medication.

Nevertheless, you can also take care of yourself during the Langtang Valley 6 Day ascend to stay away from the risk of altitude sickness. Here are a few ways to keep yourself safe:

  • Keep a slow pace and walk continuously. Remember that we are not on a race and take it as an adventurous journey rather than being in a hurry to reach the top and descend sooner.
  • Drink as much water as possible throughout the ascend and descend. Drinking adequate water keeps your body hydrated and minimizes the risk if altitude sickness.
  • Carry some snacks with yourself so that you can eat during the walk. With that, you will not lack the energy to ascend to the Langtang Valley and Kyanjin Ri.
  • Follow the guide and make sure that you keep note of all of their instructions.
  • Prioritize eating only vegetarian food throughout the trek for better health.
  • Do not panic if you sense minor symptoms of altitude sickness. These symptoms can be cured with simple medication and caretaking.
