Chitwan National Park is located in southern central Nepal, some 146 km away from Kathmandu. This park has been listed under the natural heritage sites by the UNESCO. UNESCO declared Chitwan National Park to be natural heritage site in 1979.
Chitwan National Park Safari The park that covers some 932 Sq. km is the home to various endangered species namely mammals, birds, reptiles and water animals of several kinds.
