When you arrive at TIA, one of our representatives will receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. A representative of Adventure bound Nepal will then drop by your respective hotel. You will have your lunch and after some rest, you can do various activities around.

You can visit the surroundings like Basantapur Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Further, you can shop trekking gears at Thamel. There are varieties of brands you can choose from.

Apart from this, you will meet your trek guide and fellow travelers. You will get your permits and TIMS card. Make sure you bring your passport, photos, and a copy of your travel insurance policy.

Your journey towards Everest Base Camp trek begins today. We will take a Sare jeep from Kathmandu to Takshindo. This journey is of 10 hours of the drive where you take the path via Phaplu. This drive is beautiful as you get to witness the rural countryside parts of Nepal. The drive continues through high hills, farmlands, and narrow pathways. Puiyan is a beautiful settlement of teahouses that sits on the bottom of towering hills. It is a popular overnight stop for trekkers and climbers.

After your breakfast at Puiyan, you continue your climb and gradual ascents. Again, you pass through various ridges and villages. This is the major highlight of Everest Base Camp Trek via Salleri. There are numerous small shops and teahouses. You will have your lunch in one of those spots. Monjo is a great place for that. This small village lies towards the north of Phakding sidelong the Dudh Koshi.

Namche is a good spot for acclimatization and exploring exciting environs. On this day, you will ascend above Namche towards the Everest View Hotel. The trails are steep but not strenuous. You will enjoy this short hike of exploring Khunde and Khumjung.

Khunde and Khumjung are beautiful Sherpa settlements with local stoned houses. You can have astounding views of Mount Ama Dablam. When you finally reach the Everest View Hotel, the scenes get better. You have the splendid panoramas of Mt. Everest and Lhotse. You also can have a beautiful sunset view.

After spending some time, you will retrace your steps back to Namche overnight.

After breakfast, you will depart for another ascend witnessing the mesmerizing sunrise. Today will be another amazing day as you will cross 4000 meters. Brace yourself as you’ll be witnessing some contrasting scenery!

Walking on the rugged trails, you encounter lots of Buddhist monuments, gompas, chaitya, and stupas. There is ancient age with traditional antique design. After than comes the stone steps that take you to Mongla Pass. You will rejoice the vista like Ama Dablam standing right beside Dudh Koshi River.

Walking through lustrous forests for hours, you will reach Tengboche village. There are many fantastic sites at Tengboche. Tengboche monastery is the major highlight as it is the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. The spiritual chants and prayer will refresh and calm your body. You will also have marvelous sunset through an enchanting range of Himalayas.

Now comes the part of the trek where you come across lush alpine forests. The forest at such altitude has a unique variety of flora and fauna like rhododendron, birch, and conifers. They bloom in its natural form making the journey more pleasing.

The trail of this day includes a range of descent and uphill paths. Your trek begins with descent but right afterward comes uphill ridgeline. This is another acclimatization day as you crossed over 4000 meters. The next stops are going to be higher than this altitude. This extra day will help you come up to cope up with the adverse altitude change and lesser oxygen. Dingboche is another fantastic spot for you to rest, acclimatize, and explore more.

On this day, you explore another world beyond the stone walls of Dingboche. There are several villages including Chhukung village where you get incredible Himalayan views of Lhotse, Amadablam, and Taboche.

You will then hike to the nearby Nagarjuna Hill. This famous spot is good for sightseeing and photography. After hiking for about 4-5 hours around you will be back to your teahouse at Dingboche. You can take a complete rest afterward.

You have already crossed above 4000 meters and today is the day you will be reaching 5000 meters. Your journey starts with the usual uphill ascend. But the views of mighty Himalayas become closer and more beautiful.

You walk past the valley of Dusa, the first campsite of the first successful Everest Campaign. Then, you cross a small stream and ascend to Duglha where Mt. Pumori looks prominent. The main highlight of the day is the steep moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. You have to be careful as this ascend is a tough part.

After this, you pass the ridge of Chupki Lara. This spot is a Memorial Shrine filled with colorful prayer flags and gompas. Following the spectacular mount views, you will reach Lobuche. You will have your breakfast and start walking. This day is full of steep downhill climbs and occasional ascents too. So, this is going to be the longest day of Everest Base Camp Trek via Salleri.

You will be continuing along some busy trails. You will meet numerous trekkers, climbers, and porters. Especially in peak seasons, there is a lot of traffic. Retracing your steps, you will walk through dense forest, varying landscapes filled with diverse flora and fauna.
