What are the best seasons for the Everest Panorama Trek?

Everest region is one of the most preferred trekking regions in the Himalayas of Nepal. Many people visit the Khumbu region to ascend the trekking trails offered by the Everest Trekking Region. However, trekkers must be highly aware of choosing the best Everest Panorama Trek season. Even though the trekking journey might not be highly affected by weather, the views you get of the mountains can be.

Everest Panorama Trek in Spring and Autumn Season

Spring season (March to May) and Autumn season (mid-September to November) are two of the best seasons to visit any trekking routes in Nepal. In these seasons, the remains are perfect for trekking or going for adventures. Moreover, almost all of the hotels remain open and provide proper accommodation and food. This makes trekking even more comfortable and easy for the trekkers. Another best thing about trekking in the spring or autumn season is that we also get the clearest and most serene view of Mount Everest and other Himalayas.

Everest Panorama Trek in the Winter Season

Winter season is also favorable for trekking on the Everest Panorama Trail but only for the highly experienced trekkers. If you do not have much experience in trekking or this is the first time, we do not recommend you to go for the Everest Panorama Trek in the winter season. Due to snowfall and extremely cold temperatures, the trail might be a little more difficult than expected during the winter season which falls between late November to February. Moreover, many hotels and accommodation centers might also not offer services during this season. As a result, the trekkers might have to go through some obstacles and difficulties while ascending the Everest Panorama Trek in the winter season.

Transportation facility certainly is the most important aspect for advancing to any trekking routes in Nepal. To go for the Everest Panorama Trek, trekkers will have to go from Kathmandu to Lukla, which generally is done via flight. However, in cases of delays and cancelation, we first drive to Ramechhap and then fly to Lukla. Let us make you aware that the chances of delays and cancelation in the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla are significantly high. Therefore, trekkers must be well known about the transportation facilities during the Everest Panorama Trek package.

If in case, you do not want to go for a long drive, Adventure Bound can also arrange a direct helicopter charter to Lukla. This can cover up the extra days trekkers need to wait for. However, booking the direct helicopter charter requires an extra amount depending upon the scenario and circumstances. In summary, there are three different transportation means for the Everest Panorama Trek: by plane, by road, and then by plane, or by direct helicopter charter. However, one thing that we can assure is the the quality of the transportation medium.
