Useful Information
Best Time for Everest View Trek
Spring is the most highly recommended season of the year. From March to May, the Everest region trails are full of adventure lovers. If you want to get a chance to get a clear view of the Himalayas and blooming rhododendron, spring is the best season.
Moreover, Autumn season i.e. from September to November also stands as one of the best season for this view trek. You can get stable weather during this month. The weather is not as cold or hot, so you can trek in better weather. However, there might be possibilities for light rain during this time. During autumn you can observe the clear sky and clear views of the mountain peaks. It provides an amazing view of forests and farmlands.
Summer and Monsoon come together in Nepal. These are the hottest seasons and thee are alsao higher possibilities of raining most of the time. During the daytime, the weather is too hot and it is difficult to trek. There are frequent hailstorms, strong winds, and heavy rainstorms. But, the night is not as cold and can bearable if there is no rainfall. Summer can be boring for trekking and it is also quite risky to trek during this time. The clouds block your views and you can barely see the beautiful mountain peaks. The flights might get canceled or there might be changes in the flight schedule due to the rain.
Winter is one of the least preferable seasons to trek in the Everest region. The main obstacles while trekking are frequent snowfalls and strong winds. The views and scenery are not that clear and appealing during this time.
How Difficult is 7 Day Everest View Trek?
The Everest View Trek is moderately difficult trekking route in the Everest trekking region. The difficuly level of this trek highly depends on the route and the season you choose. The most challenging part of the trek is the trek from Namche Bazaar and above. The trek till Sagarmatha National Park is moderate but as you move towards Namche Bazaar the trek becomes a little difficult.
It takes 6 hours of walk through the sloppy tails to finally reach Namche Bazaar. Similarly, the trek further from Namche to reach Tengboche is a moderate trek. The trails from there vary from sloppy paths to steep paths. However, our guide will always be there to help you through the trek.
Trekking in the wrong season also tends to make the trek difficult. It is better to avoid trekking in Summer and Winter as the trails are slippery and there will be more chances of injuries. But, you can also plan your trek on Spring and Autumn seasons as the weather is stable which makes it easy to trek.
