Is it mandatory to have a guide and a porter to go for the Everest Panorama Trekking Adventure?

Hiring a professional guide is mandatory for any trekking adventures in Nepal as per the recently updated law. However, you have full freedom to choose whether to hire a porter or not.

Is the food and accommodation of the guide on me?

The food, accommodation, and salary of the guide will be covered by the package cost itself. So, we only expect the trekkers to offer some tips (monetary) to the guides to encourage them.

What options do I have for food and accommodation during the Everest Panorama Trek?

Adventure Bound makes sure to arrange the best, hygienic, and healthy food as per the preferences of the trekkers (as much as possible). Moreover, accommodation will also be arranged in comfortable and cozy hotels or lodges.

What are the risks of flight delays and cancelation during the Everest Panorama Trek?

The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and Lukla to Kathmandu has higher chances of delays and cancellations. However, we can arrange two more ways to reach Lukla from Kathmandu and vice versa. In case of delays and cancelation, trekkers can either go for a drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap followed by a flight to Lukla or simply get a direct helicopter charter to Lukla. The same can be done while returning from the Everest region to Kathmandu.

Does Travel Insurance cover the expenses I make during delays and cancelations?

Yes, travel insurance can help you claim the expenses you make for extra stays or to arrange other transportation during cancellations or delays. Moreover, you can also claim in case of lost belongings or emergency evacuation if you have travel insurance.

What kind of weather can we expect throughout the day during the Everest Panorama Trek?

As the weather in this trail depends upon the climatic changes in Mount Everest, the exact weather forecast is difficult to obtain. However, you can expect an average day to be cool, breezy, and mostly clear in the spring and autumn season. Whereas, during the winter season, the temperature can often remain below 0 degrees Celsius and the nights can be even more freezing.

Do I need to carry extra cash for the Everest Panorama Trek?

Yes. we recommend trekkers to carry extra cash while on their journey to the Everest Panorama Trekking route. If you carry about $15 to $20 per day, that will just be enough for you.

Can I also pay with my credit card or ATM card during the Everest Panorama Trek?

Up until the Naamche Bazaar, trekkers can pay using a card or digital payment option. However, if you ascend higher on the trail, the hotel and tea houses only accept cash (Nepalese rupees).

Is previous trekking experience necessary for the Everest Panorama Trekking Adventure?

We suggest the trekkers have previous trekking experience for the Everest Panorama Trek because that can help them adapt to the higher altitude.

What is the weight limit for the flight during the Everest Panorama Trek?

Generally, the trekkers can carry a maximum weight of 15 kg or 33 pounds during the flight to Lukla. This includes both a duffel bag and a daypack. However, if you want to carry any extra luggage, you need to pay between $2 to $5.

Can I get hot water for a shower during the Everest Panorama Trek?

Yes, hot water supplies are available in almost all the accommodation hubs like hotels and lodges.
