How far is the Langtang Valley from Kathmandu?

The Langtang Valley is about 80 kilometers and it takes about 7 to 8 hours of driving in the public sharing bus to reach the starting point (Syabrubesi) of the Langtang Valley Trek.

What are the facilities available during the 8 Day Langtang Valley Trek?

Booking any packages with Adventure Bound means that you will not have to worry about facilities. During your journey to the Langtang Valley, we make sure that all the basic facilities like cozy beds, good food, hot water for shower, electricity, and internet are fulfilled.

Can I go for the Langtang Valley expedition without a guide or a porter?

As per the Nepal Government and Nepal Trekking Association, no trekkers are eligible to go on any trekking expedition without a government-licensed guide and porter.

Can I customize the 8-Day Package and reduce a few days from the itinerary?

You will not have to customize this package for that as Adventure Bound has more options for you, which are: 5-Day, 6-Day, and 7-Day Langtang Valley Trek.

What passes or permits are required for the Langtang Valley Expedition and how much shall I pay to get these passes?

Trekkers must have the Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS) and Langtang National Park Entry Permit for the Langtang Valley expedition. However, you will not have to pay for these passes or permits because the cost will already be included in the package cost.

Is it necessary for me to have extra cash while ascending on the 8 Day Langtang Valley Trail?

Yes, we suggest all the trekkers carry extra cash with them because there are several things you might want to buy, foods, or items that you might want to eat. Moreover, sometimes the hotels or tea houses at higher altitudes also charge extra for some facilities like electricity, and WiFi.

Is Travel Insurance necessary for the 8 Day Langtang Valley Trek?

Though not mandatory, we encourage all trekkers to acquire travel insurance while going for any expedition. With travel insurance, trekkers can claim for emergency evacuation, loss of belongings, and several other unforeseen circumstances.

Do I need to pay extra for the guides?

No, the basic salary, food, and accommodation cost of the guide will be included in the package cost. However, we certainly request trekkers to tip the guides at the end of the trek.
