Langtang Ganja La Pass Trekking is one another popular trekking trails in Langtang trekking region. The trekking to Langtang Ganja la pass provides superb opportunity to explore the settlement of various ethnic groups, including Tamang, Tibetan, Sherpa, their unique lifestyles, blend of cultures, traditions, panoramic views of mountains such as Langtang, Lurung, Ganesh Himal, Lakpa Dorje, Yala Peak, Naya Kanga, Mt. Gaurishankar including the Annapurna Himalayan range. The trail that passes through the Langtang Ganja la pass (5122 m) offers an entirely wilderness and adventurous experience.
Ganja La Pass TrekkingSince you have to pass the Ganja la pass, the trekking requires climbing equipments, so as the visitors require the climbing skills, therefore this trekking is considered to be one of the most challenging trekking as well. Langtang Ganja La Pass begins from Sybru Bensi and ends at Melamchi Pul Bazar. From Sybru Bensi, the trekking route follows the Langtang river, reach at Kyanjin Gompa (3,049 m), where there is small Buddhist monastery and a cheese factory, then the trail continues to Langtang Lirung and reaches to the highest point of this trek called Ganja la Pass (5,122m). After exploring around the trekking descends down to to Malemchi gaon and Tarke Ghyang and finally reaches to Melamchi Pul bazaar then return back to Kathmandu by bus or private car.
Day 01 :Arrival at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to the hotel
Day 02 :Drive to Sybru Bensi (1462m) via Trisuli Bazaar 400m and Dhunche Bazar (1950m).
Day 03 :Trek to Lama Hotel (2500m)
Day 04 :Trek to Langtang Village (3307m)
Day 05 :Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3798m).
Day 06 :Acclimatization in Kyanjing Gompa valley (hiking to Kyanjing Ri, Tserko Ri (5033m).
Day 07 :Trek to Ngegang.
Day 08 :Trek to Ganja La pass (height: 5110m, camp)
Day 09 :Trek down to Dukpu (camp).
Day 10 :Trek to Tarke Gyang.
Day 11 :Trek to Sermathang.
Day 12 :Trek to Malemche Pul Bazar.
Day 13 :Drive back to Kathmandu.
