Itinerary

Early mooring we begin our journey from Kathmandu, where we pack up our gear and set off for Bhulbhule. The scenic 7-hour drive along the Prithvi Highway follows the Trisuli and Marsyangdi rivers, offering views of lush farming terraces, pristine whitewater, and occasional glimpses of snow-capped peaks. Colorful hillside settlements add to the charm of the journey.

Upon arrival in Bhulbhule, we will have a safety briefing before settling in. In the evening, we’ll take a stroll through the village before spending the night at our campsite.

After breakfast, our guide gives a safety briefing, and we begin paddling downstream. Right away, we face powerful Grade IV rapids, making for an exhilarating start. As we navigate the rushing waters, stunning waterfalls, terraced farms, and snow-capped peaks create a breathtaking backdrop.

After an hour of thrilling kayaking, we reach Marsyangdi Hydropower. Passing the confluence of Khundi Khola, we tackle steep, intense rapids before entering a peaceful forested area for lunch. The river remains fierce throughout the day, demanding skill and teamwork.

Beyond the Besisahar section, the waters calm as we near the Marsyangdi Hydropower dam. After a short rest, we continue paddling downstream to Paundi, where we set up camp for the night.

After breakfast, we continue rafting on even more challenging waters as the river swells with the added flow from Dordi Khola and Paundi Khola. Navigating through rocky passages and boulder-strewn rapids, the adventure intensifies, demanding skill and teamwork.

Today’s journey takes us through sharp bends and powerful Grade V rapids, including Asty Nare, Twinkie, Good Morning, Dom’s Loss, Morphine, and Instant Karna, along with many other thrilling, unnamed rapids. After two hours of adrenaline-pumping rafting, we reach Bimalnagar, our take-out point.

With the excitement of Marsyangdi River rafting still fresh, we drive back to Kathmandu via the Prithvi Highway, bringing our adventure to a memorable close.
