Mera Peak at 6,654 meter one of the highest trekking peak of Nepal, situated in one of the remote isolated area of Khumbu. The trek starts from the village of Lukla, the gate-way to Everest. The trek from here leads to the adjoining high mountain hills of Naulekh.
Mera Peak Climbing As we leave the last settlement behind, heading east to a steep climb of three hours to the top of the ridge. From here, its a steep descent to the hidden valley of Hinku, as the bottom is reached, the valley, a pleasant walk takes you through the serene forest of pines and rhododendron with grazing pastures and meadows, then a high camp at 5,800 meter at the foot of the Mera Peak. The climb to the summit is technically straight forward on a long glacier. At the summit, we will have time to immerse ourselves with the surrounding beauty and a panorama of the mountains, including the top five 8000 meter Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga and Mt.Cho-Oyu. After the great challenging trek, we retrace our remaining journey back to Lukla for the sweeping flight to Kathmandu.
Day 01 : Day 01 :Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel with the Adventure Bound P. Ltd.Representative. Preparation for trekking.
Day 02 :Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley, preparation for Climbing
Day 03 :Fly to Lukla and explore around Lukla (2730m)
Day 04 :Trek to Chutanga 3,430m 3-4 hrs walks.
Day 05 :Trek to Tuli Kharka 4,300m. 6-7 hrs
Day 06 :Trek to Kothe (3600 m): 5-6 hours
Day 07 :Kothe to Thaknak (4,350m) 3-4 hrs
Day 08 :Thaknak to Khare (5,045m) 2-3 hrs
Day 09 : Rest day in Khare/Acclimatisation
Day 10 :Khare to Mera Base Camp (5300m) 3-4 hrs
Day 11 :Mera Base Camp to High camp (5,780m) 4-5 hrs
Day 12 :Mera High Camp to Summit (6,461m) and back to Khare (5045m) 8-9 hrs
Day 13 :Spare day in case of delay and bad weather.
Day 14 :Khare to Kothe (3600m). 4-5 hrs
Day 15 :Kothe to Thuli Kharka: 5-6 hrs
Day 16 :Thuli Kharka to Lukla: 6-7 hrs
Day 17 :Fly Lukla to Kathmandu.
Day 18 :Leisure day
Day 19 :Transfer to Airport for the International departure
