Went to Nepal and did th Poon Hill / Ghorepani Trek in end may of 2018. The company organising the tour was very proactive, and did everything to Ensure that we have a pleasant experience. Special mention to the guide, who went above and beyond to cater to our comfort, and to accommodate our preferences. The trek itself was enjoyable, and we managed to see decent views despite it being the monsoon season. The good thing about doing the trek at this time was that there were very few people, and that’a something that has its own charm. However, I recommend that this trek still be done during the actual trekking season, as that’s when the views are the best.

We did the Poonhill trek with guide Raj Silwal and had a great trip. Except excellent hiking, beautiful nature and good weather we really enjoyed to company of our guide Raj. He was funny, polite, had a lot of knowledge about culture, nature, animals and traditions and we felt he was always doing a little extra to give us the ultimate experience. We booked the Annapurna Circuit Tour with 16 days trekking. After our arrival we got a briefing with the schedule for the following days and first met our guide Santosh. At the hotel in Kathmandu we could leave a bag with stuff we wouldn’t need during the trek. The whole trip had an itinerary which was still flexible regarding the daily amount of trekking-hours, so we could adjust to the weather and our personal strength. Santosh always had very good suggestions regarding the length of trekking per day as well as for the places to stay at. He also was looking out for us and we had a lot of nice chats during the time. He knows his country and culture well and has a lot of answers to any question that might pop up. If you find anything he doesn’t know, he will google it for you ;) Narayan was our porter and always in a good mood, especially for a round of cards in the evening. With Santosh and Narayan you are in pretty good hands. They care a lot about your happiness and well being. Thank you so much for the good time! David & Alex

I can’t say enough good things about this trip, and the Adventure Bound company. Laxman waited at the airport for me, in spite of a delayed flight, and organized two days of reasonably priced tours in Kathmandu. Our guide, Om, was incredibly nice, and really knowledgable about the mountains and culture. He made sure that we were eating and drinking enough, and that we had a good room to stay in at night. Our porter, Bhim, was friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed his company. Buy the end of the trip, they both felt like family. I think the best testament to this company, was the way they handled things when I became sick. Om and Laxman arranged for a helicopter to transport my daughter and I to the international hospital in Kathmandu. While I was admitted, they both came to see how I was doing, and Laxman not only picked us up at discharge, but also arranged for transportation to a follow up appointment. I felt that he went above and beyond what most travel companies would do, and I was really grateful for the support. My travel insurance was from a company in Austria, so I’m sure communication with Nepali and German accents was not easy for him! I give 5 stars to these guys!

Adventure Bound war in der Zusammenstellung unseres Treks sehr flexibel und hilfreich - unser Vorhaben war zeitlich sehr kurzfristig, aber dies war alles kein Problem! Rabin, unser Guide, war sehr zuvorkommend, offen und kompetent. Auch während des Treks war er sehr flexibel und versuchte jeden unserer Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir hatten immer viel Spaß mit ihm, gleichzeitig versorgte er uns auch mit vielen Infos zu Land und Leuten. Dabei war aber auch immer genügend Raum für Stille und Privatsphäre. Da wir unser Gepäck selbst trugen und keinen Platz mehr für Schlafsäcke hatten, trug er sie für uns! Beenden durften wir unsere Reise mit einer luxuriösen Busfahrt nach Kathmandu! Wir können Adventure Bound nur wärmstens empfehlen! Thank you very much for these amazing 9 days with you!!! Next time EBC! :-)

karma は素晴らしいガイドです。日本、韓国の滞在経験があり、日本語、ハングルも話せます。 トレッキンク中のトランスポートのマネージメントは完璧でした。また、道路状況等のトラブル、遅延等の説明も的確で安心してトレッキングが楽しめました。特にカルガンダキのホーストレッキングは化石探しもできて最高でした。

I did a hiking between Kathmandu and Nagarkot and it was amazing mainly on the second day with all life’s mountain around such as: people, houses, animals, food (not cheap but tasty), forests, views and good tracks. I highly recommend going with Raj as he’s a very nice guide and a loving person.

4月上旬のトレッキングで、昨年12月からメールでやり取りをさせてもらいました。詳しい日程や細かい質問にも日本語できちんと対応していただき、行く前からとても安心でした。また、価格もほかの業者の見積もりよりも良心的でした。 ルクラ〜エベレストBC〜チョラパス〜ゴーキョ（１８日間） ガイドは日本語堪能なRajさん。盛りだくさんの予定でしたが、途中で体調を見ながら臨機応変にスケジュールを変えてもらい、無事に予定を終えることが出来ました。 また、Rajさんはエベレスト界隈のベテランで、例えば電波の届かない場所で、朝先行する同業者ガイドさんやポーターさんに混み合っている宿の予約をお願いするなど、随所で素晴らしい気遣いがありました。ありがとうございます。 また、オーナーのLaxmanさんも日本語が堪能で、カトマンズ空港への送り迎えなどもお世話になり、とても助かりました。

My EBC trek was one of the best things I havr ever done. Thanks to my guide Rabin Thapa, who always tried to do his best to make me feel confortable. Respected my needs, my limits. Rabin is more than a guide, he is now a very good friend. This comoany and Laxman, the owner, will try to help you whenever they can.
