On the first day, the representatives of Adventure Bound accompany you on a drive from Pokhara to Matque that takes about 3 hours. Matque (aka. Jhinu Danda) is the starting point of this 5 Day Annapurna Base Camp Trek. As you reach Matque, we start the trekking journey by crossing a 287-metre-long suspension bridge that connects Jhinu Dada to Khimrong Khola valley.

The route is covered by stone once we cross the suspension bridge and reach the valley. From there, Chhomrong is about 2.5 hours away. This means that trekkers do not have to walk in a rough route during this section of the short trek to the Annapurna Base Camp.

On the second day, we reached the second last stop before the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Himalaya Hotel in Dovan. We ascend to the altitude of 2900 metres from 2170 metres above sea level which takes about 5 to 6 hours to complete. However, the time taken also depends upon the pace of the trekker.

Firstly, we will descend to the Chhomrong Khola and then start an ascending journey towards Khuldighar. From there, we will have to continue the ascending journey through rhododendron forests and finally, our trekking journey for the second day concludes as we reach the Himalaya.

Today is the day when trekkers reach the major point of the entire 5 day short Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The journey starts from the Himalayas early in the morning after a fulfilling breakfast and leads us to the Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700 meters). Trekkers will spend some time in this base camp, capture memories, and enjoy the moment.

After that, we continue the trek which will then lead us to the highest point of the 5 Day Annapurna Base Camp trek. Yes, we reached the Annapurna Base Camp Trek (4130 metres) on the third day. This place is nothing less than a heaven for the people obsessed with nature and especially with the Himalayas. We will spend some time in the Annapurna Base Camp and then descend a little lower for dinner and an overnight stay.

There is no acclimatisation or rest day throughout this 5 Day Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek. So, we will start the descending journey immediately on the fourth day. On this day, our goal will be to reach Sinuwa, which is at an altitude of 2340 metres above sea level. Our journey for the day starts after having breakfast in the Annapurna Base Camp and then we walk for about 6 to 7 hours.

The walk will not be as straining and difficult as it was while ascending. Trekkers can enjoy their way down by sharing the experiences they had and talking to the guides. Even after reaching Sinuwa, we recommend trekkers explore the area because we had not reached this place while ascending. Overnight stay and dinner will be arranged in a comfortable guesthouse in Sinuwa.
