Best Time to go for the Short Langtang Valley Trek

Are you planning to go for the short trek to Langtang Valley? We recommend all the trekkers choose the spring season (March to May) or the autumn season (mid-September to November). During these seasons, the weather remains very pleasant and the sky is clear. Due to that reason, trekkers can get beautiful views of the surrounding environment along with other landscapes and forests that we see during our Short Langtang Valley trek.

Besides, in these seasons, most of the tea houses, hotels, and guesthouses remain open to provide better services and food to the trekkers. Moreover, you will also be walking on a less slippery route surrounded by green bushes and pleasant weather. Also, your walk will be accompanied by several other trekkers who are also on their way to the Langtang Valley.

If you are a peace lover, want rather a lonely trekking experience, and also like a little bit of adventure and exercise, the winter season that runs from late November to February would serve as a perfect season for the short ascend to Langtang Valley Trek. However, you must be ready for several issues and obstacles like comparatively fewer hotels, limited food menu, slippery routes, extremely cold temperatures, etc. Moreover, the risk of altitude sickness and frostbiting also increases during the winter season.
